For the testing and validation phase of the SOS Creativity platform and its contents, the italian partner Società Cooperativa Fuori Dal Sommerso involved 30 seniors from the city of Mesagne, inviting them one by one at the organization office. The sessions were organized between april and may 2022. Each senior was guided through the platform with the support of the organization facilitators and prompted to try one or more of the original training contents developed during the project by all consortium partners.

The testing experience was overall very satisfactory both for the seniors who had quite some fun exploring the website sections or by trying the self-assessment tool, and for the staff of Fuori Dal Sommerso who had the chance to provide an innovative interactive experience to the organization’s users.

At the same time the facilitators had the chance to collect valuable feedbacks from the testers on the usability of the platform, the quality and completeness of the training materials. Among other comments, mostly very positive, seniors asked also for more interactive contents like games and videos. The feedbacks collected will be used by the project consortium not only to fine tune the platform itself but also to deliver a document containing guidelines that can be used by any practicioner, teacher of facilitator when using the platform with seniors in the future.
